Fleeing the authority of the city and the conformism of their families, 4 young lovers lose themselves in the darkness of a forest. The night, home to clandestine parties and delirious fantasies, will plunge them into strange confusion and deliver them to the whims and fancies of the mischievous beings who populate this wood.

The confusion of love sets in to free their desires, opening the door to the forbidden, to confusion and intimate truths. The magic of this singular night and its unusual inhabitants will open up unsuspected possibilities that will shake up the identities and certainties of all those who pass through it.

The actors throw themselves into this expressive physical theatre to make Shakespeare resonate in today’s Berlin, where dance, song and creatures of the night mingle to celebrate.

TFB/Théâtre en Francais in Berlin and its participants present the work of the year 2022/2023, LE SONGE / THE DREAM, an adaptation of the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream by W. Shakespeare. A show made of dreams, magic and desires, desires, desires!
